Meet Jim White

Jim works in the State Capitol as a Chief of Staff for Representative Clinton Anderson, where he focuses on policy development and constituent services that strengthen communities across Wisconsin. His work has given him a strong understanding of how smart, practical policy connects to local needs here in Beloit.

Before moving to Beloit, Jim served three terms on the board of the Tenant Resource Center, helping prevent evictions and supporting tenants and landlords through mediation and rapid rehousing programs. That experience shaped his belief that housing stability is the foundation of a strong community.

In Beloit, Jim serves as the Vice Chair of the Beloit Community Development Authority, helping expand affordable housing and support local nonprofits, and as Chair of the Rock County Democratic Party, where he works to engage residents and lift up new voices.

With a B.S. in Biochemistry and an M.S. in Data Analytics, Jim brings analytical skill, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping Beloit grow smart, stay safe, and remain a community for everyone.
